There are concerns a regional Victoria town may lose its Qantas staff base, as the major airline reviews its structure.
The review will investigate the impact of relocating flight attendants and pilots from Mildura in the state's north-west, along with staff in Canberra and Hobart.
The decision would affect about eight QantasLink employees in Mildura and 70 across the three locations.
Qantas said staff would have the option to relocate to either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
CEO Rachel Yangoyan said Qantas was focused on improving reliability for customers and growing its regional flying network.
"Having more team members based at our busiest ports would help us respond more quickly to disruptions and reduce delays and cancellations for our customers," she said.
