A man jailed for striking a police officer in the head with a brick in 2009 has been sent back to jail for fresh offences while on parole.
Roderick Holohan, 56, of Bomaderry, was sentenced at Nowra Local Court on Wednesday, September 17, after pleading guilty to two counts of intimidation.
The offences occurred on May 9 and 11, 2025, just months after Holohan was released on parole in November 2024 following a 15-year prison term.
Police papers presented to the court said Holohan was under strict conditions, including electronic monitoring, until 2029.
The court heard that on May 9, Holohan's bicycle had been stolen, but he knew its location and required a car to retrieve it.
Defence lawyer Gary Anderson said the victim and Holohan were in a brief relationship, and he went to her prop
