BLOOMFIELD HILLS – In a gym packed full of fans and college-bound talent from both programs, Farmington Hills Mercy rallied after dropping the first game to win Wednesday evening at Marian.

The Marlins, who entered ranked two spots in the latest Division 1 poll behind the Mustangs, left as winners by scores of 14-25, 25-22, 25-22, 27-25.

“I think we really came together,” Mercy junior Kate Kalczynski said. “In the beginning, we were a little shaky, but we came together, and that’s what won us that match: our belief in each other.”
