A body discovered in a Tesla registered to one of America’s fastest-rising music stars has now been identified by authorities.

The car, belonging to 20-year-old singer-songwriter D4vd, whose real name is David Burke, had been sitting at a Los Angeles impound lot when staff noticed a foul smell coming from the front of the vehicle.

Police were called and on September 8, Los Angeles Police Department officers opened the Tesla’s front trunk to find a decomposing body stuffed inside a bag.

Forensic testing has identified the body as Celeste Rivas. NBC News reported that the girl’s remains were not intact, and the county medical examiner is still working to determine the cause of death.
