A police pursuit that began after officers learned a driver had purchased illegal drugs ended with a multi-vehicle crash and the tasing of a man following a foot chase in southwest Oklahoma City.

New video shows an officer ramming the driver's pickup truck near I-240 and Santa Fe Avenue in an attempt to end the high-speed pursuit after the driver refused to stop. The chase culminated in a crash involving several vehicles after an officer used a tactical maneuver to stop the speeding pickup.

After the wreck, the man fled on foot before he was tased and taken into custody by metro police.
