KINGSFORD — The shorthanded Kingsford Flivvers recorded four straight-set wins in their 4-4 draw against Gladstone in a Great North Conference matchup Tuesday at Kingsford High School.

“We are still battling the fall illnesses but overall, everyone played great,” KHS coach Tracy Rutter said.

The Flivvers’ doubles teams accounted for three victories. No. 1 doubles duo Kylee Woodward and Aubrey Bellmore led the way with a 6-1, 6-2 triumph over Lillian Ketcham and Mackenzie Nelson.

No. 2 doubles Alaysa Bacon and Mira Johnson defeated Lola Vargo and Ella Howes 6-1, 7-5, while No. 4 doubles Claire Rutter and Verily Martin rolled to a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Bree Wetthuhn and Taylor Hastings.
