The Albanese government has learned from the last major climate commitment

The prime minister laughed off the final question to him at a press conference confirming Australia's next massive climate commitment.

"You say this will put downward pressure on energy prices. By what exact figure will they drop?" a journalist asked.

"You yourself laughed when you asked that question. So, it should be treated in the way, in the spirit in which you've done."

Albanese may have played it down, but he won't dare touch the live wire that jolted the government last term.
