A COURT has heard "an offer" made in a Tamworth man's gun case could mean his co-accused's charges "resolve".
Kane John Smith-Croft was supported by his parents who sat in Tamworth Local Court as he appeared via video link from a prison on the Mid-North Coast.
The now 28-year-old has been in custody since he was arrested in a roadside stop by the Oxley Proactive Crime Team about 9.30am on December 12, last year, on Warral Road, in West Tamworth.
Police allege he was in possession of a shortened 12-gauge shotgun, with a co-accused who remains before the court.
Solicitor for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Jemima Crane said the Crown and defence had a case conference to discuss the issues in the case but a short adjournment was needed before it could progress.
