The lure of craft beer and expertly smoked barbecue meats drew thousands of people to Kangaroo Valley on the weekend of September 13 and 14.
The annual Kangaroo Valley Craft Beer and Barbecue Festival attracted purveyors of Australia's finest food and drinks from all over the country as part of an eagerly-contested national competition.
The Friendly Inn has been hosting the event for 10 years, although one year was lost to COVID-19, and again the vendors and food and drink lovers were out on force.
At the heart of the event were more than 20 vendors of craft beer from all over the country, and many of the brewers were there as well, giving fans the chance to discuss all aspects of the brewing process.
