BOSTON —
More than 1,500 people are expected to attend a candlelight vigil Thursday night on Boston Common for Charlie Kirk.
Organizer Brian Foley, who recently lost a race for Boston City Council, said there's been so much interest in the vigil that police have asked him to relocate it from its original planned location at the bandstand.
“I want to end the political violence. I've invited Democrats. I've invited Republicans,” Foley said. “We're actually moving it to the Shaw steps right now for safety reasons because we have more assets, according to the city, that are deployable over there in that section. So that's where we're going to do it, keep everyone safe.”
