WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. — All aboard!! Some central Kentucky railway attractions are garnering national attention from AAA Travel Magazine .
At the Bluegrass Railroad Museum , it’s a step back in time as every Saturday, visitors can catch a ride on historic passenger cars from the 1930s to 1950s. Maggi Harrod, the office manager, said she got involved at the museum as a teen.
“You really get to feel like you were there in Milner when the hemp mill was there, and you get to feel like you experience something that you don’t get to do every day; it’s a really unique experience,” Harrod said.
