The members of Dream Theater say it’s been clear that playing their latest album, “Parasomnia” — which came out in February — has been a good idea.
“We’re really pleased with the reception we’ve had,” frontman James LaBrie says. “While we were writing and recording the album, we felt really good about it, and that’s kind of confirmed by the way the crowds are reacting. A song like ‘Midnight Messiah’ goes over like gangbusters. We’re seeing mosh pits while we’re playing those songs, which is crazy. We haven’t seen that in a long time.
“So we’re really pleased. I think it’s all come to fruition, so to speak.”
