GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The S.S. Badger car ferry is resuming operations Thursday morning after being damaged.

Officials say the Badger came in contact with its sister ship, the S.S. Spartan , which sits in Ludington Harbor in Michigan. It happened just before 7 o’clock Wednesday night.

Crews are assessing the damage to the Badger to determine what repairs are needed and to make sure the ship continues operating safely.

The Badger ’s passenger and vehicle ferry service will resume at 9 a.m.
