A man who confessed to murdering an Edmond woman in 2016 will spend the rest of his life in prison, according to court records.
In 2024, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a welfare call along Interstate 40, where Troopers approached a man identified as Joseph Beck.
After being detained by troopers, Beck confessed to murdering 19-year-old Kyli Molloy of Edmond.

Beck confessed inside the back of the trooper's vehicle, saying he wanted to turn himself in.
"While I was choking her, I thought, 'I need to let her go or she's not going to be able to breathe,'" Beck said. "Why did I ever choose to do anything bad? I'm sorry, sir. Why did I ever choose to do anything bad?"
