GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Grand Rapids is once again transforming into an expansive art gallery as ArtPrize returns this September , featuring more than 1,100 artists displaying their work throughout the city.

The annual international art competition, which launched in 2009, kicks off Thursday, Sept. 18, showcasing 931 entries across 155 venues spread throughout five districts in Grand Rapids.

ArtPrize features diverse artistic expressions including sculptures, paintings, immersive exhibits, interactive installations, 3D works, and time-based pieces. Following tradition, visitors can vote for their favorite entry, with the winner receiving a $100,000 grand prize.
