DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A 20-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds inside a home in DeKalb County, according to police.

DeKalb County Police stated that the man was located at a residence on Rock Meadow Drive in Stone Mountain at around 10:24 p.m. on Sept. 17.

The DeKalb County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Davonte Rhodes.

A preliminary investigation indicates the man and the suspect knew each other, and police said they are pursuing a person of interest.

Officers later learned a second person sustained minor gunshot injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment, police said.
