ROY, Utah (ABC4) — The Hill Aerospace Museum is set to host Open Aircraft Day on Sept. 20.

The free event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Hill Aerospace Museum and will offer visitors the opportunity to explore various aircrafts from military aviation history.

Kendahl Johnson with the Office of Public Affairs said that event guests will be able to peek inside the cockpits, cargo bays, and crew compartments of select historic aircrafts, which are normally closed to the public.

Guests will also have the opportunity to interact with Airmen and learn about their military missions.
