Authorities have canceled a statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert for a Stark County woman believed to have been taken at knifepoint in a vehicle.

The Jackson Township Police Department issued the alert on Wednesday for 31-year-old Kayla Giltz. Authorities said she was taken around 6:26 p.m. in Stark County by a 38-year-old man, Jamie Triplett.

The alert was canceled on Thursday morning. Police said they would issue a new release later Thursday, but did not say whether Giltz had been found and is safe.
