PRATTVILLE − A nude, unattended toddler was found in Prattville walking toward one of the busiest streets in town, and three adults face charges in the case, police say.
On Tuesday, Sept. 16, a resident was driving on East Main Street at the intersection of Adell Street when he noticed an unattended, unclothed male toddler, walking in close proximity and in the direction of East Main Street, said Police Chief Mark Thompson.
Main Street is one of the busiest streets in Prattville, which alarmed the driver, Thompson said. The man, along with other "good Samaritans," called police, provided clothing and care for the child as they awaited police arrival, a news release from the police department states. Officers were led to the child's residence, which was about one block away.
