NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Police say a man is facing charges in connection to a Wednesday evening incident in which he’s accused of shooting at his ex-girlfriend.
Darnell Bellinger, 39, of North Charleston, is charged with domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, having a weapon while committing a violent crime and sale or delivery of a stolen pistol, according to jail and court records.
The North Charleston Police Department says this stems from an incident that occurred around 5 p.m. on Carlton Street. The victim had been attempting to pick up her personal items.
Police say that, while she was there, Bellinger attacked the woman before firing a handgun at her and her child’s father. No injuries were reported.
