Community violence concerns raised during city council meeting

DANVILLE — During Tuesday night’s council meeting, there was much heated discussion over the approach to handling violence among the youth in the city.

Phillips Davis, father of Aniyah Davis, the 18-year-old girl shot to death in June at Winter Park, addressed the council during the public comment section.
