Tom Cleverley has been charged with misconduct by The Football Association as he prepares to serve a touchline ban when Plymouth Argyle play Peterborough United at Home Park on Saturday.
Cleverley was shown a red card by referee Ollie Yates in the 72nd minute of the Pilgrims' incident-packed 3-2 away League One win against Luton Town last Saturday.
The FA said in a statement this afternoon that Cleverley 'acted in an improper manner by repeatedly disagreeing with decisions and/or dissent and/or using insulting and/or abusive words, leading to his dismissal.'
