Two weeks after Matt Fraction and Jorge Jiménez’s Batman began, it’s already hit a massive milestone.

According to a press release, the inaugural comic has sold over 500,000 copies, making it the current top-selling comic of 2025.

As the Hollywood Reporter notes, Invincible Universe: Battle Beast #1 from Robert Kirkman, Ryan Ottley, and Annalisa Leoni and Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee’s Batman #158 —the start of their still-ongoing Hush sequel , which Fraction and Jiménez’s run is set after—take second and third place, respectively, with over or around 400,000 copies sold.
