Hikari’s “Rental Family” will close the Middleburg Film Festival . The film’s director will attend to participate in a post screening Q&A.

As previously announced, Noah Baumbach’s “Jay Kelly” is set to open the Middleburg Film Festival. Chloé Zhao’s “Hamnet” will serve as the festival’s centerpiece film. The Middleburg Film Festival, now in its 13th year, will run from Oct. 16-19.

Following the “Jay Kelly” screening, the festival will present the Inaugural Ensemble and Casting Award to members of the cast and casting directors Douglas Aibel and Nina Gold. Zhao, who is attending, will receive the Visionary Director Award. Based on Maggie O’Farrell’s book, “Hamnet” stars Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal. The film won TIFF’s People’s Choice Award.
