KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Kansas Jayhawks could be part of some college football history next season.

According to a report from On3’s Brett McMurphy, KU and Big 12 conference foe Arizona State are in discussions to play the first-ever FBS college football game in London.

McMurphy says once finalized, the Big 12 game is expected to be played Sept. 19, 2026, at Wembley Stadium. If that were to be the case, the two schools would need to rearrange their schedules. The Jayhawks are currently scheduled to play Middle Tennessee State on that day, while the Sun Devils are supposed to host Hawaii on that Saturday.

Football games at Wembley Stadium have been played since 2007, with the NFL playing 27 games at Wembley since then. But a college football game has yet to be played in England.
