Construction on the new Mt. Hope High School building is moving apace and appropriately the Bristol Warren Regional School Committee was told at its meeting Monday night, Sept. 15, during an update provided by the district's advisors.

Nick Hull, of the BWRSD owner's project manager PMA Consultants, led the presentation. At the top of the list of priorities, he noted the total spend for each of the six aspects to be performed over the next two years by the Brait Builders, the lead contractor, remains on the $186 million figure the committee set as its top-end limit.

To date, he continued, $17 million has been spent and the district has received $7 million in "pay-go" reimbursement from the Rhode Island Department of Education.
