April Anderson has been named the inaugural chief marketing and communications officer for the emerging academic health system anchored by Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. Ms. Anderson most recently served as chief marketing officer for the Central division of Renton, Wash.-based Providence, where she worked for more than eight years.
She will oversee marketing and communications efforts for the new academic medical center coming to Austin, according to a Sept. 15 news release.
