ALLEN PARK -- Brian Branch continues to prove himself as one of the NFL’s top defensive playmakers.

The Detroit Lions safety is going to need to bring all of that and more against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens this week on Monday Night Football.

Through two games, Branch is ranked as the second-best safety in the league, per Pro Football Focus. He has strong marks across the board, ranking among the best at his position in rush defense, tackling and pass rush. Branch is the top-ranked safety in coverage, too, tied with Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton.

With Hamilton on the other side, it’s a matchup between two of, if not the best safeties in the NFL on both sides this Monday in Baltimore.
