A 20-year-old man from Cornwall is facing a charge after police investigated a complaint about his behaviour.

Police alleged the man threatened to kill someone while at an establishment on Pitt Street on Aug. 22. Police released an image of a person of interest in the investigation, which led to being able to identify the man. He was taken into custody at police headquarters on Wednesday.

The man was charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

He was released from police custody to appear in Cornwall court on Oct. 16.
