A new episode of "Dateline" on Friday will cover the case of Sandra Birchmore , the pregnant woman whose death in 2021 unveiled allegations that Stoughton, Massachusetts, police officers had groomed her since she was a child , and how it took publicity from the Karen Read murder case to shine a new light on her death.
For "The Betrayal of Sandra Birchmore," which airs at 10 p.m., "Dateline" correspondent Andrea Canning speaks with two members of Birchmore's family, a former assistant principal at the Sharon elementary school where Birchmore worked and Stoughton Police Chief Donna McNamara.
