COLFAX, Wash. -- If you're planning to head to Pullman for the Apple Cup this weekend, be prepared for possible delays on Friday.

The Washington State Department of Transportation says the SR 26 bridge in Colfax will be closed on Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. so crews can install an additional barrier on the bridge after the old one was hit by a truck.

Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic around the closure.

The width of the bridge will also be narrowed from a total width of 26 feet to 22 feet due to the additional barrier.
