NAPLES, Maine — Multiple emergency crews responded Thursday to a two-alarm barn fire at 599 Harrison Road in Naples, prompting road closures and urging drivers to avoid the area.
That section of Harrison Road is also Route 35. The road was reopened around 5 p.m.
As of 2 p.m. Thursday, Harrison Road was shut down between Lewis Road and Fogg Road as firefighters worked to contain the blaze, Casco Fire Rescue said in a social media post .
Authorities asked motorists to seek alternate routes while crews battled the fire.
Officials have not yet said the extent of the damage or whether there were any injuries.
No official cause of the fire has been released.
