DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- A lockdown at Jordan High School has been lifted.
Jordan High in Durham was placed on lockdown after someone reportedly saw a gun on campus Thursday afternoon.
A student told school leaders that they saw another student with a weapon, a Durham Public Schools spokesperson told ABC11.
Durham County sheriff's deputies conducted a sweep of the school but did not find evidence of a weapon. Durham Police officers also responded to the scene.
The lockdown was subsequently lifted.
