DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – A high school in Durham is currently under lockdown following a report of a weapon on campus, district officials said.
A lockdown went into effect at Jordan High School after officials received a report of a student with a possible weapon, a spokesperson with Durham Public Schools told CBS 17 on Thursday afternoon.
So far, district officials said no weapon has been found as of 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
Law enforcement is searching throughout school property at this time, district officials said.
