PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- Giant animatronic dinosaurs and intricate Lego statues are getting set up in the Peoria Civic Center for all people to enjoy.

Jurassic Quest and Brick Fest will be in the center for a three-day event. Dinosaurs from all eras, diets and sizes will be open for the public.

Unlike their fossil counterparts, these fully skinned animatronic lizards move back and forth, sometimes surprising the kids.

"Some kids are happy to see some dinosaurs and we have some that are frightened," said Shayi Olaogun with Jurassic Quest. "But I always tell my friends we have nothing to worry about. These dinosaurs will never hurt you."

Also at the center will be giant Lego statues, including Woody from Toy Story and Darth Vader.
