PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Kids have a chance to have fun while learning about STEAM at an expo hosted by the Kent District Library.

The annual KDL Lab Expo is set to take place Saturday, Sept. 27 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Plainfield Township Branch. Several organizations will be at the expo to show how they use science, technology, engineering, art and math.

"We have asked different partners throughout Kent County or in Michigan to come on in and share what they're passionate about with STEAM, how they use it in their own work and just making it fun," KDL Branch Outreach and Programming Specialist Brittany Zuehlke said.

Guests will include Thornapple Woodlands, a local beekeeping business that will bring in a bee colony and honey sticks; Mad Science’s Discovery Fun Station,
