A FORMER college football quarterback was sent to the hospital after collapsing while coaching his son.

The 33-year-old was coaching his son's football team at the time of the brutal incident.

On Wednesday, South Carolina iconic quarterback, Connor Shaw needed treatment at a hospital after collapsing while coaching his son's football game.

The former Cleveland Browns quarterback was rushed to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, per The State .

It's not known what caused Shaw to collapse.

Fortunately, Shaw is in stable condition and in recovery after the incident, per a statement from the City of Simpsonville on Thursday afternoon.
