London police will draw $1.5 million from reserve funds in an effort to reduce next year’s operating budget and ease the burden on city taxpayers.

The city’s police board held a special budget meeting Thursday when the seven-member body approved a $1.5-million reduction to the force’s 2026 operating budget of $195 million.
