ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — The Albuquerque Police Department's homicide unit is investigating a shooting in the northeast that left a man dead. According to APD, one person has been detained for questioning in connection to the shooting.

Police responded to the shooting in the 5400 block of Edwards Drive N.E. near Juan Tabo Boulevard and Spain Road at about 1:15 p.m. on Thursday. They found a man who had been shot. At the scene, he was determined to be dead.
