"And they told me that it will be $45, and I was like $45, I've always gotten it for free," said Susan Cruse.
Cruse asked for a free copy of her prescription and was told that the new management charges for the information. Charging you for your prescription is illegal. If an office tries to make you pay, you might need to remind them of that.
Just last year, the Eyeglass Rule of 2024 came out. It declares it an unfair practice for an optometrist or ophthalmologist to fail to provide a patient with a copy of the patient's eyegl
