Brad Everett Young , an actor, photographer and arts education proponent, was killed in a car crash this week.

Young, 46, was driving alone on a freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday night when his car was struck by a vehicle going in the wrong direction, his publicist, Paul Christensen, said in a statement.

He died at the scene and the other driver was hospitalized.

Young was born in Danville, Virginia in 1979. He worked on school newspapers and magazines as a writer, photographer and graphic designer throughout high school and college before heading to Los Angeles.

As an actor, Young appeared on shows such as “Boy Meets World,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and movies like “Love & Basketball,” “Charlie’s Angels,” “Jurassic Park III” and “The Artist.”
