A female body that was found inside a vehicle owned by singer D4vd has been identified as a 15-year-old girl who was reported missing last year, NBC News Los Angeles reported .

The girl, named Celeste Rivas , was identified through forensics. She was last seen in the western Riverside County community on April 5, 2024, NBC Los Angeles reported.

Details about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance were not immediately available. The medical examiner is still working to determine the cause of death.

Rivas’ body was found inside a 2023 Tesla registered to D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, located at a car impound facility in Los Angeles on Sept. 8.
