A 92-year-old man considered at risk because of cognitive deficits went missing in Long Beach Thursday.

George Malcom Nason was last seen about 9:40 a.m. Thursday when he left his home in the 4500 block Pepperwood Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

“He does not have a cell phone, nor any tracking device on his person,” police said, adding that Nason may become disoriented because of his condition.

Nason is described as white, 6 feet 1 inch tall, 170 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a beige shirt, gray pants, white socks and gray shoes when last seen.

Anyone with information regarding Nason’s whereabouts was urged to call the LBPD Missing Persons Detail at 562-570-7246 or police dispatch at 562-435-6711.
