Beginning Friday, a full closure will be in place on part of Shore Road in Linwood and Somers Point, Atlantic County officials said.

And beginning next week, roadwork in parts of Absecon, Pleasantville and Egg Harbor Township will impact two avenues.

Shore Road

Beginning Friday through Sept. 26, a full closure will be in effect on Shore Road between Ocean Heights Avenue in Linwood and Meyran Avenue in Somers Point from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting, for utility work by New Jersey American Water.

California Avenue

On Monday through Friday, a detour will be in effect on California Avenue between Fire Road and Route 9 on the Pleasantville-Absecon border for drainage improvements.
