NANTY GLO, Pa. – When Helen (Sabo) McMullen, 88, was on her deathbed last year, her daughter saw a glow come over her mother’s face as she looked into a hallway and waved.
“I go, ‘Who are you waving at?’ ” Sandy Croft recalled. “And she goes, ‘Moe.’ She said, ‘He’s come to get me.’ So it was her brother she saw and she said, ‘Look at him in his uniform.’ You know. And the nurse started crying because, of course, they know. To my mom, that’s how much they absolutely loved their brother.” ×
