HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- U.S. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky is speaking about what can be done about the political temperature in the country.
In an interview with Eyewitness News, Senator Paul says that while political discourse is common on the internet, the vast majority of conversations he has experienced in Washington D.C. have been cordial.
“I would say most conversations in Washington are civil," Senator Paul said. "What happens is Internet accentuates anger because it's anonymous, and its just a cesspool of anger and people yelling at each other. No one is having a conversation on the internet, everyone is yelling at each other and I don't know how to make it better. But I do know there have been Interviews that I've done, weather its a democrat or a republican together discussin
