WEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) -- The "Second Chance Express" has officially launched for Webster County Schools.

Students that miss their morning bus to get to school will now have the opportunity to make it to class, without missing a full day of learning. Superintendent Aaron Harrell says despite seeing a bus driver shortage across the country, they are able to pull this program off without having to make any major adjustments to bus routes.

“These are bus drivers who already work for us and they come off their regular route and circle back to the bus garage and run a secondary route,” Harrell said.
