1Trenton, NJ – New Jersey has officially joined forces with seven Northeastern states and New York City in a new regional health partnership aimed at strengthening science-based public health policy while pushing back against federal directives under the Trump administration’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The newly branded Northeast Public Health Collaborative includes Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York State, Pennsylvania , Rhode Island, and New York City. The group, which began informal coordination earlier this year, held its first in-person meeting in Rhode Island in August.
