Purdue and Indiana will face off for the first time in the upcoming basketball season Jan. 27 at Assembly Hall, the Big Ten announced Thursday. It will be the first time coaching in the series for the Hoosiers’ new head coach Darian DeVries.

The teams will have a return meeting Feb. 20 at Mackey Arena, says the conference, which announced full 20-game schedules for each of its 18 teams.

Tip times and television information will be released later.

Purdue will open conference play Dec. 2 at Rutgers and then play another early-season conference game Dec. 10 at home against Minnesota and new coach Niko Medved.

The Boilermakers will return to league play for good with a road trip to Wisconsin on Jan. 3 and will play at Southern California and UCLA back-to-back Jan. 17 and Jan. 20. Its lone
