Critical reception and awards have never been a barometer for quality. The history of television and film is full of entries that either went unnoticed or were met with less-than-stellar reviews. However, every so often, something comes along that receives accolades and awards that are well-deserved. At this year's Emmys, The Pitt racked up an impressive 13 nominations and took home three. The Pitt won Outstanding Drama Series, actor Noah Wyle won his very first Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, and Katherine LaNasa won for Outstanding Supporting Actress.
